how do i start a bucilla stocking?
i ordered a bucilla felt stocking kit online but i am not sure how to start it. any tips?
There should be step by step instructions included. If not, all the felt pieces will be predrawn and numbered. Cut out the 'front' of the stocking, then find the piece #1, cut it out, embellish if needed, then sew it on. Repeat with piece #2,3,4,5 etc.
Get a small container (plastic shoe box) to store the pieces in while you are working. Get a GOOD sharp pair of scissors. Get a piece of cardstock and punch holes in it. Pass each different colored thread through a hole to keep them separated and untangled. Get a small plastic cup/jar with a lid to hold the beads or sequins in.
