How do I watch AVI's from a memory card that I recorded from my video camera?
I bought a little video camera and I used a memory stick to record on and when I insert it in my laptop it I open up my folder to view the files which are AVI and when I click it, it doesn't find the appropriate program to play them with. It usually opens up Windows Media player but says it's not the right kind of file or something like that. What can i do? Do i need to convert them or something?
1. You can google search for VLC player, it's a powerful video player that supports AVI video.
2. You may convert the AVI video to WMV video, I know windows media player supports wmv video well. If you don't know how to convert video, here is a step by step guide for you
