Easy Face Painting Designs for Kids – Why Not Experiment This Holiday Season?
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at learning easy face painting designs for kids but aren't sure where to start? Why not be bold this Halloween season and experiment with many of the patterns that are available? You and your child will love the creations the two of you will be able to come up with together. There are many designs for kids that are easy, simple and creative. The most important thing to remember is to choose a good quality set of water-based paints. They are just as easy to use as watercolors and you can find them online or in theatrical stores. These paints can easily be removed with water and a paper towel. Make sure the packaging says it is for face paint, since craft paints are toxic to the skin.
Easy face painting designs include ghosts, pumpkins, clowns, vampires and witches. A pirate's eye patch, a spider web or even a fairy princess are also popular designs. Here's a simple guide to creating a few patterns for everyone in the family:
• Pirate—Paint a black ‘eye patch' around the eye. Add a black mustache and a beard. You can also paint a head scarf across the forehead!
• Fairy Princess—Paint some feathery lines around and away from the eyes and accent with some glistening stars.
• Spider webs—Spider webs are an adaptable pattern for either cheek art or a full face design. Paint various lines in shades of gray, black and a little white.
• Jewelry—Paint dots around the neck or wrist about the size of pearls. ‘Dangle' a painted ‘charm' like a heart or peace sign from the necklace or bracelet.
• Clown—Paint the nose and the outside of the lips red—make the area around the lips large! Outline the red mouth with a white area. Paint eye lines from the outside of the eye to the temple and oversize the eyebrows.
• Rainbow—Rainbows are easy and popular face painting patterns. Paint thick lines in a ‘horseshoe' pattern of red, yellow, green and blue colors. Add a puffy white cloud at each end of the rainbow for a classic look.
Experiment with easy face painting designs for kids by using using simple lines and shapes to see what other images you come up with. The designs can be basic for cheek art or dramatic for a full face pattern.

Painting My walls with a Grid Art Pattern?!?
OK so im painting my walls like a grid art painting, but im painting them on big poster board so i can change it when i want... good idea or no? i have 4 walls and a little wall for my door and every walls going to be different and when its done its going to tell a story with pictures ....do you know what kind of paint would be best? for the poster board? is this a good idea?
So what you're doing, is using large poster bristol board, and on each, you are painting images, that in total, creates a story or day in a life scene, poster paints or craft acrylics may do,
maybe do a set of paintings that explain you whole day, or week, or year,
maybe do a walk-through on one painting, and each piece is one step, the final piece complete,
maybe do a whole vine that grows from one board into the next, and each board has a flower,
maybe do a typographic set of words, that in total create the image that words represent,
maybe do a set of colors, each one blends or creates contrast with the next,
maybe do a sudoku with colors in checker board so there are 9 colors but align like numbers
maybe do a black & white design, and one color on each board, that represents something personal,
maybe do a different grid, circles or triangles, and create a mosaic mix of time sequences,
maybe do a floor or ceiling design on walls to turn room on side or end,
maybe do a set of hair styles from top to bottom, or giant makeup-kit, hundreds of nail polished designs,
have fun mostly,
